Sam Photo

This is from the very funny Episode "Tall Tales" and this particular photo is from everyone's favourite scene I think. I call it the "Too Precious" scene. I'm sure everyone has their own description for it :->

On A Sad Note - RIP Bea Arthur

I know Bea wasn't really in anything Supernaturally, but I absolutely LOVED her in The Golden Girls. I thought the constant uphill struggle with her character and her mother was hilarious. She will be missed by her fans and the acting community.

Retro Reminisce

PILOT

This is where it all began. A quiet little place called Lawrence in Kansas. No one knew what would happen this night. No one was expecting anything out of the ordinary to happen. Oh, and I forgot to mention that it was also over 22 years ago.

The family in the house are not expecting to receive any visitors. It is, after all, very late at night. The mother (Mary) has woken and is checking on the baby boy (Sam) in his nursery. The older of the two boys (Dean) is in his room. Standing over Sam's cot is his father (John). Or so Mary thinks. Until she goes downstairs to get a bottle for Sam and finds John dozing in front of the tv. Upon seeing John, Mary runs upstairs taking the stairs two at a time to confront the man in the nursery. It appears she is too late. The man has done what he came to do. The man, annoyed at being interrupted, pins Mary against the wall without even touching her. He slowly drags her up the wall and onto the ceiling.

Upon hearing the commotion, John scrambles out his chair and charges up the stairs. He checks on Sam and is just putting his hand in the cot, when he sees blood on his hand. Looking upwards he sees Mary on the ceiling. The next thing he sees is her combusting into flames.

And so begins the fate of our two hunters. Dean and Sam Winchester. One (Dean) has been trained from a young age to kill all the things you can only imagine in your worst nightmares. The other (Sam) has been protected in cotton wool from ever seeing any of these things. He has a normal life.

Fast forward to the present and we see Sam leading a very normal life. He has an apartment, a girlfriend Jessica and a promising career as a Lawyer. The last thing he was expecting in his perfectly normal life was a disruption. Enter Dean. Rooting around in the middle of the night in Sam's apartment looking for a beer. Or so he tells Sam when he gets confronted.

Dean informs Sam that their dad has gone on a hunting trip and hasn't returned yet. Sam says that that's not really unusual and he'll return when he's done hunting. Dean reiterates that their dad has gone on a "hunting" trip and hasn't came home. It's only then that the penny drops. Sam realises what Dean is talking about. He walks Dean to his car and the conversation turns to all things Supernatural. When Dean opens the trunk of his car, it's only then Sam realises the enormity of what it is Dean actually does.

So here begins the hunt. The two Winchester boys begin to track down John's movements in the hope of finding him. Along the way they go to John's motel room and find that there are numerous Supernatural articles on the walls. They also find John's Journal and take it with them. There's a case John was working on involving a mysterious woman in white. Dean and Sam decide to follow in John's footsteps in the hope that they will catch up to him. Maybe this woman in white holds the key to where John actually is.

It seems that this woman in white gets men to take her home. When they do take her home, the men mysteriously vanish into thin air. Sam comes across the woman in white and she magically appears in the car. She asks Sam to take her home. She actually means to her home and Sam says he can't take her home. So, she drives the car herself and they end up at her house. It's not been lived in for years. The woman starts panicking saying she can never go home. Sam drives the car into the house and it is here we find out that the woman drowned her two children. The reason she can't go home is that the children are waiting for her and when she does return they get their revenge on her. One case closed, but still no sign of John.

Dean drives Sam back to his apartment and then leaves. When Sam gets back inside he finds a note from Jessica and lies down on the bed with a huge smile on his face. Until he feels something dripping on his forehead. He looks up and Jessica is in the same position on the ceiling as Mary was all those years ago. She also combusts into flames and Dean barges into the apartment to get Sam out before he too ends up dead.

Once the fire has been subdued, Dean and Sam are talking. Sam is giving up being a lawyer and is joining Dean on the hunt. It's all about revenge for Sam. For Dean, it's just another day at the office.

Anyway, if you would like to download this for your wallpaper, head on over to the Supernatural.tv website and look for it in their "Gallery" section. BIG Thank You to the designer :->

Again, I've trawled through the thousands of goodies out there for us Supernatural Junkies. Look what I found. Doesn't he look good in leather?

John Photo

Here's an absolutely gorgeous (in my opinion) photo of Jeffrey Dean Morgan. He scrubs up not too bad in a suit and tie. At least he doesn't have that "scruffy" look about him, like I have seen in most of his photos. Go JDM !!!

What If ..... ?

There are, by now, numerous articles doing the rounds about our favourite programme coming to an end. As I said before, I will be gutted the programme has to end. It would be nice if they ended on a high though.

As someone mentioned to me in an email, look what happened to the X-Files? When they had resurrected a character for the umpteenth time, that made me stop watching it. If you were a die hard X-Files fan, you'll know which character I mean.

So now that we all know what's going to happen with the show, what would you like to see happen in it? What if you were given the chance to make a decision about the way the show went, what would you do? Would you bring anyone back into it? Maybe kill off someone who really deserves it? Would it all just be a dream for the Winchester family?

I am interested in your view, so please leave a comment.

Ponder For The Day

So it looks like there will be no more Supernatural after Season Five. All good shows must come to an end at some point, but they could try and last to Season Seven if not Eight. That'll beat the Buffy thing :->

So, what will we watch when the show DOES come off air? Or will it be reruns daily for all of us that have the DVD's? I will definitely be disappointed when it does come to an end. I'm a late junkie for the show and it is getting very interesting.

What will the writers do for Season Five? I hope they're not planning on killing off the Winchester Brothers. That would be a bummer. If they're both still alive, they can come back for "Specials" :-> So if you writers are reading this (hey I can hope) DON'T KILL THEM OFF !!!

Worth the Ponder .....

Sam Photo

Here's another one of Jared for all you Jaredettes out there. I think we should send in a petition to the show and MAKE him get his haircut. He looks like a hippy now.

Friday 3 April 2009

Winchester Brothers Photo

It's Friday and you know what that means? Double Photo Corner :-> Yay a lovely photo of our favourite men actually grinning at the same time. THANK YOU E-BETH !!!!

Ponder For The Day

What to ponder ... Jeez this is getting harder. I have too many Ponders going round my tiny brain. Okay. Here goes nothing.

We are getting closer and closer to the end of Season Four. Now, I'm not saying this will happen but just incase, if one or both the brothers don't make it out alive how do you see Season Five going?

I can't help but wonder. I watched the whole Buffy thing and it lasted seven Seasons. It did stand the test of time, at the time. Would it still be here though, especially as we have Supernatural now? Joss Whedon was and still is an excellent writer, but did they just end it because he ran out of steam?

Will our favourite show go the same way? Will it just run out of steam and fade away? As for Season Five, hmmm. I would like to see Sam getting some closure and dealing with the whole Demon inside him thing. Maybe actually stop feeling sorry for himself some. As for Dean. Ahhh poor Dean. The Hellspawn. I'd like to see an Episode where he actually does go back to Hell, but he has Sam in tow. What are they doing in Hell? Vengeance. Pure and simple. It also might be a good chance to have JDM back for an Episode.

Worth the Ponder .....

Thursday 2 April 2009

What's The Episode?

Well, I've decided no more songs. What's The Episode? is going into retirement. It may reappear, but at the moment it's in the vault.

Dean Photo

Thank you again JACKALQUEEN for emailing me this photo :-> I would LOVE to know where you get the photos !!!

On A Sad Note - RIP Andy Hallett

It is with deep sadness that the acting community has lost another fine actor. Andy Hallett passed away on Sunday night following a five year battle with Heart Disease. Andy is best known for playing the character of Lorne (or The Host) in Angel. He played the character from 2000 until the show ended (another loss) in 2004. His character was a Demon that could read peoples auras whenever they sang. He was green, but damn he could sing. In my opinion it is a very sad loss. No, this is not an April Fool's Day joke.

Sam Photo

I have been looking very closely at this photo and I have come to the conclusion that Jared actually knows how to use hair straighteners. There's no WAY his hair would be that straight without them. Have you seen his little flicks?? They would need some serious taming. He's got himself a set of GHD's !!

What's The Episode?

Here is today's song ..... White Rabbit.

The Episode for this song is ..... HUNTED.

Gordon returns in this Episode just to annoy the brothers. No, he's actually out to kill Sam. Once and for all. When Dean and Sam have a disagreement, Sam goes off on his own and runs into another "special" person called Ava. She's a psychic and can see Sam dying. Dean, in the meantime, is on the hunt for Gordon after he finds out Gordon's plan.
